Environmental Protection

SAPL is giving special attention in the design of the plant for the protection of environment.
CPCB and other statutory norms will be strictly adhered to during plant design and construction.
SAPL is "a zero discharge company" with no discharge of water from the plant boundary. Waste water is being treated and being recycled.

Achievements

Integrated Steel Plant commissioned in just 18 months time.
Commenced production of Pig Iron in November 2010
In financial year 2011-12 achieved sales of Rs.700 crores, with production of approximate 2,50,000 MT Pig Iron.
